This show at San Francisco’s “Winterland” was shot on film by Bill Graham Presents in 1975. Wolfgang’s Vault gave me permission to use a couple of the songs. Grace and I wrote “Better Lying Down” (one of Graces more subtle lyrics ) for her solo album “Manhole” in 1972, about a year before I joined Jefferson Starship. Although they first asked me to play with the then forming Jefferson Starship at the session, I had to go back to England to record on Rod Stewart’s “Smiler” album for all of 1973.
