Following the recent flood, MDWFP fisheries staff have been working over the last week at Percy Quin State Park’s Lake Tangipahoa to remove invasive aquatic plants, including water hyacinth and Cuban bulrush. These invasive species spread quickly, crowd out native plants, and can limit public access.
