The tropical situation in the Arabian Sea has developed into a storm and has been named Shakhti. The wind around the centre is 30 to 40 knots, and the expected direction of the case West-southwest towards the center of the Arabian Sea. The distance of the center from the coast of the Sultanate of Oman is 750km. It is situated at 21.8 degrees North latitude and 66.8 degrees longitude. The probability of the storm developing into a cyclone is low. There is no direct impact on the Sultanate of Oman
