One of my very favourite portraits of #AnneBoleyn hangs at Loseley Park in Surrey. It is one of the few painted portraits which gives a sense of Anne having a dark, sallow complexion, as her contemporaries noted. It also features a rare glimpse of an intertwined ‘HA’ pendant handing from her necklace, as opposed to the more ubiquitous ’B’ pendant that we typically see in the many Elizabethan corridor portraits of Anne.
