ULTRAVOX – VIENNA This week in 1981, ULTRAVOX released the single VIENNA, (January 1981). Yes, a significant step away from the post-punk snarl and cold wave emotion of the John Foxx-led Ultravox but it was always hard to deny the thrilling confection of electronics, violins and histrionic vocal peaks of VIENNA, awash with European romanticism.
