We all have heard it, one of the most famous diss tracks in music history. I’m talking about Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd. However, they were always big Neil Young fans, and the rumor has it that Ronnie Van Zant, the singer of Skynyrd, were buried in his Tonight’s the Night t-shirt (with Neil Young’s face on it). Young wrote this song, Powderfinger, for them to record. They did unfortunately die before they got the chance to do so… Neil in his prime! It doesn’t get any better!! #neilyoun
