This Looks Like a Tiny Banana… But It’s NOT 🍌❌ It's a banana passionfruit. Here in New Zealand this plant is classed as invasive as it can smother native vegetation, therefore it's not allowed to be grown. This fruit was found growing wild, so I got a chance to try it. If you'd like to grow something like this that is allowed, go for 'red banana passionfruit', also called 'vanilla passion fruit' (Passiflora antioquiensis). Those ones taste amazing and have the most incredible flowers too! #rare
