The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 60 cents per share.

Playa Hotels & Resorts NV (PLYA) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $9 million. On a per-share basis, the Amsterdam-based company said it had profit of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs,

First Solar (FSLR) came out with quarterly earnings of $3.65 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $4.64 per share. This compares to earnings of $3.25 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

The Las Vegas-based company said it had net income of $1.20 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.42 per share. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations.
