FOXBOROUGH — There was a lot of good, a little bad, and some nasty in Will Campbell’s first career joint practice. As he has all summer, the Patriots first-rounder repped at left tackle for meaningful team periods. Faced with a new opponent for the first time, Campbell held his own.

Will Campbell spent a good chunk of his first NFL joint practice blocking a former Patriot. Deatrich Wise, who played eight seasons in New England before signing with Washington this offseason, matched up against Campbell in 1-on-1 and 11-on-11 drills.

The Patriots and the Commanders joined forces for a spirited practice session behind Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, one that will go down as one of the most unique joint practices we'll ever see.
