Spurs, Utah Jazz and San Antonio

Over the previous three weeks, the San Antonio Spurs looked to have cemented themselves as arguably the best team in the NBA.
Lauri Markkanen had 29 points, Keyonte George added 28 points and the Utah Jazz held on to beat San Antonio 127-114 on Saturday night, snapping the Spurs' league-high eight-game winning streak.
While George's emergence has been a revelation for the Jazz, this is a team that needs to continue adding to its core to reach the levels that they desire. The ideal result would be getting some lottery luck in the form of a top-three pick to add to the young and growing core.
The Jazz win their second game in two nights as they defeat the Spurs 127-114 as Walter Clayton provides 17 points off the bench to go along with 57 combined points from Markkanen and George.
The Spurs will attempt to defeat the Jazz on Saturday night in San Antonio despite the injury absence of De'Aaron Fox.
