Prince Andrew and his family have spent many a Christmas at Sandringham, but the Duke of York has found the 'perfect excuse' not to attend this year, according to a royal expert.

According to former BBC royal reporter Jennie Bond, Sandringham might feel overcrowded this year with multiple families all under one roof, as well as new additions like Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, who was invited to the annual getaway for the first time ever.
