Fowlerville's Margaret Buurma became the first girl to win four MHSAA individual wrestling titles while Lowell's Jackson Blum and Riverview Gabriel Richard's Sebastian Martinez each joined the four-title club.

Saturday, March 1 is the final day of competition at the MHSAA individual wrestling state tournament at Ford Field in Detroit.

The Hometown Life's region, which spans most of the west side of metro Detroit, had nine competitors advance to Saturday's MHSAA individual wrestling state finals at Ford Field, eight of whom won state titles. That included four grapplers from Detroit Catholic Central bringing home titles and four girls.

Grand Ledge's Logan Tollison completes perfect season and Fowlerville's Maggie Buurma finishes as a four-time champion.

More than 1,100 wrestlers entered the 2025 MHSAA individual state finals with the goal of earning their way to the top of the podium. Intense opening rounds filtered the best of the best through to the championship matches,
