Texas and Florida are set to continue their SEC series at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Saturday afternoon. Florida (34-17, 12-13) opened the series with Friday's 8-2 victory. Friday's loss was UT's fourth straight in SEC play. Texas was a member of the Big 12 during the 2019 season when it last lost five consecutive conference games.

The lead changed twice, and the game was tied twice through the first six innings. Arkansas seized its first lead in sixth with a solo home from Kuhio Aloy. The Razorbacks tacked on another run in the seventh but the Tigers answered back.

LSU baseball ’s Chris Stanfield doubled down the left field line with two outs. Steven Milam started the hit on first and was sent home where he was thrown out by a healthy margin. A&M kept the game tied, 1-1, and in the next inning it retook the lead on a triple from Ben Royo followed by an RBI single from pinch hitter Hayden Schott.
