President Joe Biden pledged another $600 million Wednesday for an ambitious multi-country rail project in Africa as one of the final foreign policy moves of his administration.

The US President. who has long been dubbed ‘Amtrak Joe’ over his use of trains in America, helped showcase the Lobito Corridor project.

Biden is using his third and final day in Angola to showcase the Lobito Corridor railway, where the US and key allies are investing heavily to refurbish 800 miles of train lines in Zambia, Congo, and Angola.
