The IMD has issued Red and Orange Alerts for heavy rainfall in several states, including Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is expected in the northwest Indian states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir from July 14 to 18.
