A poll shows that more than half of New York voters want a challenger for Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul even as the governor’s approval rating has increased. The Siena College poll of 834 registered state voters found that 57% of respondents would prefer “someone else” be elected governor instead of Hochul, as reported by Fox News.

But Hochul also continued to climb from record-low numbers recorded by Siena in September, when her favorability had fallen to 34%.
