Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene his security cabinet on Tuesday afternoon to vote on the cease-fire deal.

Israel's military says it struck 20 targets in a "rapid operation that lasted 120 seconds", in what appears to be the largest wave of strikes to hit Beirut.

Hezbollah will remain active after its war with Israel ends, including by helping displaced Lebanese return to their villages and rebuilding areas destroyed by Israeli strikes, senior Hezbollah official and member of parliament Hassan Fadlallah said on Tuesday.
