New York Rangers announced they have recalled forward Brett Berard and sent defensemen Victor Mancini and Chad Ruhwedel to their AHL affiliate Hartford Wolf Pack. Berard has recorded seven goals and 13 points in 16 games for Hartford this season, leading the team in both categories.

Matt Rempe’s return to the lineup was short-lived. The Rangers sent the popular forward back down to AHL Hartford on Tuesday and called up defenseman Chad Ruhwedel. Rempe had been called up on Monday for the team’s 5-2 loss to the Blues at Madison Square Garden.
