The Minnesota Vikings had the best game of their season when they defeated the Atlanta Falcons. They doubled their score and won 42-21, and in the process, the world got to see that Sam Darnold was a future franchise quarterback with his arm talent and decision-making.

The Atlanta Falcons failed to get the job done in Sunday’s 42-21 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Not only were they embarrassed in Kirk Cousins’ return to Minnesota, but the Falcons lost their grip on the division.

The three lowest grades went to Phillips, Bullard, and Jihad Ward, which is a compelling case for more Redmond snaps next week. Four of the Vikings' best players — Greenard, Cashman, Metellus, and Van Ginkel — all earned sub-60 grades (despite Metellus having an interception). Greenard was held without a pressure for just the second time all year.
