MOBILE, Ala. ( WALA) - Police said a suspect is in custody after a Kubota track loader led numerous law enforcement officers on a chase in west Mobile and Mobile County Thursday morning.

MOBILE, Ala. ( WALA) - Numerous law enforcement officers are pursuing a Kubota utility tractor in west Mobile County. The pursuit has been on Rangeline Road before moving to westbound Interstate 10. The vehicle has been on and off road and has charged at police cars. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A multi-vehicle crash blocked some eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 near downtown Knoxville Thursday afternoon. It also blocked a ramp leading to Interstate 275, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Just before noon, Mobile police told FOX10 News that officers fired shots and that the driver of the track loader was taken into custody and then taken to a local hospital. Police said they could not confirm if he had been struck by gunfire, and his condition is not available at this time.

Drivers coming from central Phoenix and the West Valley will need to take the Loop 202 and Loop 101 as a detour.
