Ukraine's top private power company DTEK said on Monday it would receive 107 million euros ($112.30 million) from the European Commision and the United States to restore power facilities destroyed in Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy system.

The U.S. government is providing $46.1 million to purchase control systems and dozens of new transfers, while the European Commission pledged 62.8 million euros ($66 million) to restore 1.8GW of generating capacity and to protect power plant equipment from elements during the winter.

DTEK, the largest private energy company in Ukraine, will receive €62.8 million from the European Commission and US$46.1 million from the US government to rebuild the facilities destroyed by Russian attacks and prepare power plants for the upcoming winter.
