"The good news is that her favorability and her job approval rating are up a little bit for the second consecutive poll," said Steven Greenberg, a Siena College pollster. "The bad news for Governor Hochul is that both are measures are what I would say, underwater."

But Hochul also continued to climb from record-low numbers recorded by Siena in September, when her favorability had fallen to 34%.

When asked if they would vote to re-elect Hochul, 33% of voters said they would, and 57% would prefer “someone else.”
