To create some competition along the offensive line, Dallas agreed to terms with former Dolphins guard Robert Jones. Jones started 17 games for Miami at left guard during the 2024 season. Here are five things to know about Dallas’ newest offensive lineman:

Jones is a 26-year-old coming off his first full season as a starting guard in Miami. Undrafted four years ago, Jones made the Dolphins’ roster each year as a backup and started 13 games from 2021-2023 until earning the full-time spot.

The Dallas Cowboys have been more aggressive in free agency as promised, but the early returns haven’t brought much significant talent to a team looking to rebound.
