Mumbai: Eknath Shinde, who met with Home Minister Amit Shah and JP Nadda on Thursday night after BJP-led Mahayuti's landslide victory in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections, cancelled the crucial meeting in Maharashtra yesterday.

No decision was made on next CM in meeting with Amit Shah on Thursday. Mahayuti is likely to announce CM after meeting in Mumbai to be joined by Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar.

Suspense continues in Maharashtra as Mahayuti alliance is yet to name the state’s Chief minister. In spite of late-night deliberations in New Delhi on Thursday, the much-awaited announcement is yet to come. The leaders have said the decision is likely after a follow-up meeting in Mumbai.
