Massive wildfires began tearing across the Los Angeles area Tuesday, forcing Southern California residents to evacuate the area. Towering clouds of smoke caused by the fires have Nevada residents wondering if that smoke could be heading this way.

Colorado says firefighters left today to help California. They are bringing somewhere between 40 to 50 fire engines and one multi-mission aircrafts.

As wildfires continue to rip through southern California, forcing thousands from their homes, the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control is lending a hand.
