Audiences have seen Grogu execute some pretty awesome Jedi powers, and he’s surely picked up a lot from his time hanging out with Pedro Pascal ’s Din Djarin – and it should be quite a show when he uses both aspects of his training to take care of business. What that fully looks like, we don’t know, but expectations are high.
“Grogu has leveled up a bit,” Favreau said. “We saw that he trained with Luke, time has passed, so he’s got a little bit of Jedi influence, and then he’s also an apprentice Mandalorian. So now it’s time for Dad and his teacher to bring him on adventures with him.” More clues, Favreau teased, will surface soon.
It won’t be long before The Mandalorian hits the big screen. With The Mandalorian and Grogu gearing up for its debut, Jon Favreau knows the jump from Disney+ to IMAX screens isn’t something you take lightly.
