A 22-year-old mother was shot to death when her 2-year-old found her boyfriend’s loaded gun inside their Northern California apartment and unknowingly pulled the trigger in what cops called a “preventable” tragedy.

Jessinya Mina died from a single gunshot wound to her upper body after her 2-year-old son picked up an unsecured gun inside a bedroom of the home.
