Gov. Ron DeSantis told reporters the state is planning to hold another 2,000 detainees at the Camp Blanding migrant detention facility.

The center was closed in 2019 amid outcry over conditions for inmates. The government, pledging to do things differently, has hired the same contractor to run it.
