“I don’t know if 007 really should be a woman,” Berry responded. “In 2025, it’s nice to say, ‘Oh, she should be a woman.’ But, I don’t really know if I think that’s the right thing to do.” Berry previously played the character Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson in the 2002 film “Die Another Day” alongside Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.
Halle Berry kicked off the 2025 Cannes Film Festival with a short, wavy bob. The voluminous, side-parted hairstyle was a sleeker version of the natural look she showed off on Instagram a day earlier.
The robust 2025 festival lineup includes such splashy, star-driven studio titles as Wes Anderson’s “The Phoenician Scheme” (Focus), Ari Aster’s “Eddington” (A24), Scarlett Johansson’s “Eleanor the Great ” (Sony Classics) and Paramount’s “Mission: Impossible–The Final Reckoning.”
