Shrikant Shinde, in a post on microblogging platform X, addressed the delay over swearing-in ceremony of new govt, saying that “there are a lot of rumours”.

His post on X (formerly Twitter) comes amid speculations of him being in contention for the post of Deputy CM in Maharashtra.

However, he reiterated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah would decide on who will head the state government.
