It's hardly a perfect situation awaiting Bears interim coach Thomas Brown as he takes over the team from Matt Eberflus. He sought to settle the nuts and bolts

On the players’ first day back at Halas Hall, Bears interim head coach Thomas Brown delivered a message: “No more divisions.” Brown, who became interim head coach Friday when the Bears fired Matt Eberflus, stood in front of the team during a meeting Monday morning.

Now as the team's head coach, Brown will continue to be the offensive play-caller, but there are two major changes at the coordinator positions. On offense, wide receivers coach Chris Beatty has been promoted to offensive coordinator, after he has been heavily involved in the offense since Brown was named offensive coordinator.
