Sweden's defence minister says there is likely a "strong link" between the drone and a Russian naval vessel in the area.

Officials say that the Swedish military has intercepted a suspected Russian drone off the south of the country as a French aircraft carrier was docked in the port of Malmö.

This is the highest number of confirmed casualties from a single African country in the Ukraine-Russia war.
