KERR COUNTY, Texas — A devastating scene unfolded in the Hill Country on the Fourth of July as dozens of people, including children, died after major flooding in Kerr County. That number is expected to increase as search-and-rescue operations continue this weekend and beyond.
A 20-month-old Austin boy died in the Kerr County flash flood after his family’s home was engulfed by water, a family member confirmed.
"He had a strong faith and was such a good, kind young man," a family member wrote about Clayton Meadows on social media.
All proceeds from the QR codes go straight to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. The Community Foundation has raised over $30 million so far for flood relief. Together we are “Hill Country Strong.”
