After Sunday's bad loss, South Carolina women's basketball picked up a big win over Arkansas on Thursday, its second to last regular season home game.

On Thursday, Maryam Dauda took the floor Thursday for South Carolina when the Gamecocks faced off against Arkansas, her former team. No. 6 USC got the better of Arkansas, improving to 24-3 on the year with a 12-1 mark in SEC play after a 95-55 win. And Dauda had one of her best games as a Gamecock in the victory.

The Longhorns played stagnant and uninspired offense and failed to corral South Carolina star Collin Murray-Boyles in an 84-69 loss to the Gamecocks at Colonial Life Arena.

South Carolina basketball finally won a game. After an 0-13 start in SEC play, the Gamecocks knocked off the Texas Longhorns convincingly on Saturday. The win was the first for the program since December.
