Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand spoke publicly to reporters about his future with the franchise for the first time since beating the USA in the 4 Nations final playing for Canada. Marchand acknowledged that contract talks are ongoing with the Bruins as he remains committed to staying with the franchise,

"Sometimes, when you shoot your mouth off to the media, it bites you," Marchand said after Canada's 3-2 win in the 4 Nations Face-Off final.

Following the championship game, Team Canada forward and Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand was asked about the trash talk and chatter between the two sides—specifically from Team USA wingers Matthew and Brady Tkachuk—and didn't mince words.
