Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid has thanked former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick for gifting him a secret Super Bowl weapon. Reid will have the chance to cement his position as one of the greatest NFL coaches of all time when he aims to add a fourth Super Bowl ring to his collection next month.

When co-host Jim Gray pointed out that the Vince Lombardi Trophy, awarded to every Super Bowl-winning team, is named after a legendary coach and not a player, Belichick had a simple response. "Maybe they should name it the Brady Trophy. He won seven of them," he stated plainly.

The Chiefs' campaign to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowl titles has led to fans debating whether such a feat would be enough to eclipse the Patriots' dynasty. Gronkowski said his former team's legacy is secure — for now.

Reid was a guest on the "Let's Go!" podcast with Jim Gray and Belichick after nailing down the AFC Championship on Sunday, and Reid was talking about whether he can put into perspective the history he is making with the Chiefs. He can't, he said.

Legendary NFL head coach Bill Belichick joked on the latest episode of the "Let's Go!" podcast that the Vince Lombardi Trophy should be renamed after Tom Brady.

Brady and Belichick won six Super Bowls together during their time together in New England and the quarterback great won a seventh with Tampa Bay in 2021.
