Spotted in the latest Windows 11 preview build, Microsoft is adding an option to show your PCs battery percentage next to the battery icon in the System Tray on the Taskbar.

The battery icon in the taskbar is getting a completely new look in Windows 11. Previously, the small black symbol wasn’t very informative and didn’t tell enough about battery status at a glance.

The Windows 11 battery icon will soon have the option to show battery percentage and indicate how much charge is left by changing color.
