Two men- a 28 year-old from Nottinghamshire and a man from Hendersonville, Tennessee in the United States were arrested on suspicion of a public order offence, Merseyside Police said.

A 21-year-old man from North Wales was one of eight people detained after reports of tragedy chanting at Anfield on Sunday (January 5), police have said. The man, from Bala, Gwynedd, was detained following the Premier League clash between Liverpool and Manchester United, which ended 2-2.
