AP Top 25 poll preview: Hawkeyes hankering for an upset of No. 6 Oregon to shake up AP, CFP rankings
Though the top 10 teams in the CFP rankings and Associated Press Top 25 poll are the same, the list differs and Oregon is a point of contention. Texas Tech (7-1) is No. 9 in both polls, but gets slotted one spot higher for CFP purposes. Its loss came to defending conference champion Arizona State, 26-22. If it gets by BYU, it will have easy sledding with Central Florida and West Virginia rounding out the schedule.
