You’d be forgiven for thinking the Sifu devs’ next game might, just maybe, feature some head-kicking, but you’d be wrong.

In an unexpected announcement at The Game Awards, it’s been announced that Slocap is working on a new online soccer game called Rematch. This looks to be an incredibly stylistic soccer game that looks a little like FIFA Street meets Rocket League.

The next game from Sifu and Absolver developer Sloclap won't be an action game, but instead aims to give football a fresh perspective.

Sloclap is going in an unexpected direction with its Sifu follow-up: an online multiplayer soccer game called Rematch. Sifu is a beat 'em up set in China that revolves around cool martial arts action.
