As the Republic Service strike​ enters its second week and trash in Stockton piles up, some residents are taking the matter into their own hands.

The city of Stockton announced Wednesday night that Republic Services will resume residential waste service collections on Thursday. Services will begin with customers whose trash is regularly collected on Tuesday, city officials stated.
