After taking her oath as an MP, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will embark on her first visit to Wayanad, Kerala, on November 30. She will be joined by her brother, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.

Beginning her journey as a Parliamentarian, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was sworn in as a Lok Sabha member from Kerala’s Wayanad constituency on November 28. Her massive electoral victory with a margin of over four lakh votes was celebrated by Congress workers and supporters after the by-poll results came out a few days back.

She won the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat with a huge lead of 4,10,931 votes, defeating CPM candidate Sathyan Mokeri. She surpassed Rahul Gandhi's victory margin in the Lok Sabha elections.

Day 4 of the Parliament Winter Session will begin at 11 am, with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra taking oath as the Lok Sabha MP from Kerala's Wayanad. She will join her mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra won the bypolls in Wayanad with 6.22 lakh votes.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will take oath as the MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha Seat on November 28 (Thursday), her husband Robert Vadra said, after Congress leaders from the seat handed over the election certificate to her.

Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi will visit Wayanad this weekend to thank voters for their support. The duo will attend public meetings and receptions across the constituency on Saturday and Sunday.
