McLaren team principal Andrea Stella says he has no issues with Oscar Piastri 's request to consider team orders after his Formula 1 British Grand Prix penalty.

An exciting and dramatic British Grand Prix saw McLaren star Lando Norris claim his first home win ahead of teammate Piastri and Kick Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg, who finally ended his long-running record as the F1 driver with most races without a podium finish.

Despite McLaren’s claim Oscar Piastri’s British Grand Prix penalty was “harsh”, Anthony Davidson says it was “obvious” his braking on previous laps was “nowhere as bad” as the lap that caught Max Verstappen out.
