Former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator John Morton could be a nice addition to the Chicago Bears coaching staff.

MORTON GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Morton Grove police are investigating a shooting and attempted car burglary on Wednesday morning. It happened at about 6:02 a.m. in the 5700-block of Reba Street, police said. Two suspects were trying to break into a parked car, according to police. A homeowner heard the commotion and when outside to confront them.
