Luke Clanton received another sponsor’s exemption and will play in next week’s Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. When he does so, he will have a new look and wear Nike Golf apparel at a PGA Tour event for the first time.

The last time we saw amateur Luke Clanton, he narrowly missed a birdie putt on the final hole of his second round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, a birdie putt that would have earned him his PGA Tour card.

Clanton, a South Florida native, will play his hometown event on a sponsor invite, though it will likely mean he'll miss the Cabo Collegiate, FSU's next tournament.

The Amateur World No.1 claimed the Watersound Invitational on the collegiate circuit, with Clanton set to make his PGA Tour return at the Congnizant Classic
