BST Hyde Park has cancelled the final day of its festival after Lynne, 77, withdrew from the band's headline slot at the last minute due to health concerns. He had been due to front the rock band on Sunday, but stepped back on the advice of his doctors following a "systemic infection", according to a statement released by ELO.

A two-week-long music festival in central London has cancelled its final night on Sunday after Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra pulled out of the headline slot.

Jeff Lynne will no longer be performing his headline show at BST Hyde Park tomorrow night, it has been confirmed. The 77-year-old was due to perform Electric Light Orchestra’s final-ever UK gig on Sunday night.
