Earlier this week it was reported that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband-businessman Raj Kundra's house. The businessman has now broken the silence and shared the first statement after the incident.

After the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out raids at actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her husband Raj Kundra’s properties in connection with an ongoing pornography case, the businessman has addressed the matter on social media. In a short statement, he asked for his wife’s name to be left out of it.

Taking to his Instagram handle, businessman Raj Kundra has finally put out his reaction over the ongoing investigations by the Enforcement Directorate in the alleged money laundering case. Check out what he said.

On October 3, Kundra, who is facing accusations of money laundering through bitcoin, received a notice from the ED, instructing him to vacate his Juhu bungalow and Pune farmhouse. In response, he filed a petition with the Mumbai High Court challenging the notice.

The Enforcement Directorate raided Raj Kundra's properties in a money laundering case linked to adult films. Kundra denied allegations involving his wife, Shilpa Shetty, who has no connection to the case.

On Friday afternoon, Shilpa Shetty's lawyer, Advocate Prashant Patil, also issued a statement refuting reports that linked her to the investigation.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Raj Kundra's home in Mumbai was one of the 15 locations where the searches was conducted by ED.

The raids pertain to the role of various suspects, including Kundra, in the alleged distribution of pornographic content via mobile applications and other platforms, ED sources said

The Enforcement Directorate is probing the financial transactions pertaining to the pornography case in which Raj Kundra was previously arrested by the Mumbai police.
