He will have three seasons of eligibility. Lonergan later reposted the report on his Instagram story, seemingly confirming his intention to enter the portal.

According to multiple reports, Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Dylan Lonergan is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal in the near future. A redshirt freshman, Lonergan has spent each of the last two seasons at Alabama as a backup to Jalen Milroe, while also sitting behind primary backup Ty Simpson on the depth chart in both seasons.
