GRAND FORKS — Former UND men's basketball player Deng Mayar died in a drowning accident Sunday, according to police reports. Mayar, 22, was swimming at Blackridge Reservoir in Herriman, Utah. He and friend Sa Mafutaga both began to struggle, according to the Herriman Police Department.
