After winning four of their previous five games, the South Bay Lakers took on the Memphis Hustle on Tuesday at UCLA Health Training Center. The two teams faced each other there on Saturday, with the Lakers winning 125-121 in overtime, and South Bay was looking to keep building momentum.

After a rough month of December, the Los Angeles Lakers were looking to get back on track to start the new year when they hosted the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night. Both teams were missing a number of key contributors due to injury, but it was the Lakers that came out on top with a 128-121 win to improve their record to 21-11.

The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 132 to 108 for their 16th win of the season on Tuesday. Dillon Brooks led the team with 25 points and Devin Booker chipped in 21 and 11 assists in his first full-game shooting over 50% from the field in over a month.

Behind arguably Bronny James' best game of this season so far, the G League Lakers edged Memphis for another victory.
